Art Exhibition Opening: "Palettes Of France", from 21st January

Art Exhibition Opening: "Palettes Of France", from 21st January

The next exhibition in our Art gallery will be "Palettes of France", by the French artist collective Art Maestria.
The launch will take place on Tuesday 21st January at 7 pm.

The French artist collective Art Maestria has been in existence for three years. They met through a one-off online artistic challenge in November 2021, during the pandemic.

Despite their different backgrounds, techniques and living environments, they wanted to continue the adventure by creating the Art Maestria collective around the values that drive them, such as friendship, mutual support and sharing experiences.

They put their vision and creativity at the service of the values that unite them, convinced that their artistic approach will touch the heart of each and every one.

The collective has exhibited in New York, France, Italy, Spain Hungary, and South Korea.

It consists of 9 artists, 4 of whom will be present to open the exhibition in our gallery:
Hanaé Han
Hervé Alexandre
Laurence Merlette
Oana Alexa d’Ablove
Alexandra Kazakova
Aline Chevalier
Christelle Rodriguez
Marie France Gély
Sabine Raymond

The exhibition: "Palettes of France"

This exhibition showcases beautiful paintings which can be divided into three themes:

- Mona Lisa: an Icon of the Louvre Museum. The artists deliver their interpretation of the Mona Lisa by Leonardo da Vinci, the famous Italian genius who lived in France as the official painter of King Francis I;

- Regions of France: Representing different regions across France, the artists captured picturesque locations from their home regions;

- Impressionist Inspiration: 150 years ago, Impressionism was born in France. The artists have selected the Impressionist paintings that have inspired them, and recreated their own versions.

These latter two themes were specially created for this exhibition at Alliance Française de Cork.
