At Alliance Française de Cork, our courses follow the European Levels (the CEFR), which go from A1 (basic) to C1 (very advanced).

In Ireland, the Junior Cycle French examination could be considered to be A2 level, while a university degree in French brings you to level B2. In Ireland, post-primary teachers of French are required to have reached a B2.2 level.
