
FREE French ONLINE Upskilling French courses for PRIMARY school teachers, 30 hours over 15 weeks
Alliance Française de Cork is delighted to be an official provider of Upskilling French Courses, funded by the PPLI/Languages Connect (a unit of the Department of Education), for primary school teachers in the Republic of Ireland. These courses are free for primary school teachers registered with the Teaching Council wishing to teach French to their pupils.
Alliance Française de Cork is proud to have been the first Alliance Française in Ireland to propose these courses which we have been running since January 2024.

Format:
Our courses are designed to enhance teachers’ personal French language proficiency and provide them with strategies for teaching French to their students.
They take place ONLINE, one evening per week over 15 weeks, from 7 pm to 9 pm, for a total of 30 hours.
Levels:
The minimum entry level is A2. We conduct short assessments at a distance prior to registration.
We offer two different CEFR levels: A2 and B1. Please note that the minimum entry level required by the PPLI for these courses is A2. We conduct a short assessment at a distance prior to registration.
Day & Time:
CEFR A2 level: Mondays 7 pm to 9 pm
CEFR B1 level: Mondays or Tuesdays 7 pm to 9 pm
