Quirky Shopping Experience in Paris
Of course, everyone visiting Paris expects to see the Tour Eiffel, Montmartre, Notre Dame…
However, Paris has so much more to offer.
Today, we start a series of 3 blog posts helping you to discover quirky and hidden places in the French capital.
First up on the list – shopping, bien sûr!
The fashionable capital is home to plenty of elegant, unique boutiques. With such a wealth of stores to choose from, we’ve picked a few unusual options that will definitely catch your eye.
BHV Marais Concept Store:
This concept store is truly incredible. Situated in Le Marais, The Jewish Quarter, the BHV or Bazar de l’Hôtel de Ville is housed in one of the most beautiful and historic buildings in Paris.
You can find everything from luxury clothing to household items to trendy cafés with incredible views over the city.
“An unmissable destination for aesthetes and hedonists alike”, to quote the BHV website…and we’d probably have to agree!

You might have heard of the well-known bookshop Shakespeare and Company, but what about the equally cute but much less famous Abbey Bookshop?
It’s right around the corner from Shakespeare and Company, making it a good option if you are visiting close-by Notre Dame.
You are sure to spend several hours browsing in this tiny, charming and, best of all, cheap English bookshop.
