Cercle d’Ecriture de l’Alliance Française de Cork – the AF Writers’ Circle

Are you interested in writing? Do you sometimes write for pleasure in French? Whether you are a native French speaker, or a non-native speaker with intermediate level or higher, our new writers’ circle will be of interest to you.

When & Where?

The group will meet the second Thursday of every month at Alliance Française de Cork 2 – 3.30pm.

What is involved?

Participants are invited to discuss their work, exchange ideas, tips and responses with each other, in a relaxed, friendly but informative setting.  Texts can cover a great variety of genres – fiction, non-fiction, poetry, short stories, essays, memoirs, reports, theses, chronicles, articles etc.

Those interested in attending simply become an annual member of Alliance Française de Cork. This will also entitle participants to many other AF services such as free access to our médiathèque facility of books, DVDs, and magazines, as well as to our monthly cinéclub and book club. The writers group is also open to AFCork students.
