Mary Corcoran was born and brought up in Cork City. She attended UCC Cork where shestudied English and Philosophy. She is a self taught artist, Mary has taught art to many different groups in and around Cork City.

Mary has exhibited in UCC, AIB Patrick street, Lavitt Gallery and many other venues. Her work is in many art collections here in Ireland and abroad.

Mary draws her inspirationfrom nature and her many travels in Europe and North Africa. She admires impressionist painters such as Monet.

This body of work differs from her early work. In this work you will see a more grounded approach.
