A series of pictures that represent everything that is considered authentic for the South of France: a cloudless blue sky, terracotta coloured walls, historical architecture and Mediterranean flora. Although portraying these clichés to some extent, Nicolas Duranton’s pictures capture what truly is the essence of Southern France: a laid-back summery beauty, an innate sense of its own history and a unique life-style that fascinates people world-wide.

In order to continue to live and develop, the European Union must endeavour to reconcile its peoples, with a new constitution which is acceptable to all.

We are proud to present in our Gallery during the Summer months an Exhibition curated by the French Foreign Office on the life and work of the renowned and ever-inspiring all-time French Writer and Poet Aimé CÉSAIRE who coined the term ‘negritude’ and launched the literary movement called the “Great Black Cry”.
