This year we welcome in our gallery ‘Layers’ exhibition of paintings by American artist Diane Peters. …everyday rhythms of life and its foundations are full of chaos and disorder that lies beneath the smooth, calm surfaces – one cannot exist without the other, or indeed, be appreciated without the other. Each painting doesn’t simply exist, they, in a sense, have a life of their own, a life that is born out of layers of experience, emotion and reaction to life around them.
