Alliance Française de Cork is pleased to present a talk by
Mary Catherine Murray, European Affairs, Department of the Taoiseach, to mark Ireland’s Presidency of the European Union.
The presentation will concentrate on the history of the Irish Embassy building in Paris, the interesting families who lived in this private house, the atmosphere of Avenue Foch, how the state came to acquire it, and how it became the most important building in France for Irish citizens.
